I think that teaching technology in classrooms is something that is important to bring into a classroom that is not only beneficial to the teacher but also his/her students.
Some people are afraid to use computers and teaching technology in a classroom can open students up to a whole new world out there and as well as for a first time teacher.
Having technology in the teacher curriculum helps to keep the students attention in the classroom versus just the regular daily lectures which sometimes student become bored.
This gets the students involved with searching different websites to see which ones are true website with the correct information for them to use. They can become better prepared for the real world. They can learn to read,write, spelling, compose papers and presentation all through using technology which will benefit them later on in life.
They become more confident, self-esteem, independence and patient. They can learn and work on new and up coming software programs and master these programs. It it proving that technology helps benefits in areas of math, science, social studies, language bring up grades for students who may have trouble in school. They become more motivated and sometimes work on their own time on projects.
Learn how to problem solve with technology. They interact more with fellow students and share their knowledge.
They learn about their communities, news, and environment. They can find things out about other countries, and cultures outside their own safe zone.
