I Phone at ACU

I think that using the I Phone at a University is has it good points and bad points. The good points is that when you register at the University and setup your I Phone it orders your books, register for classes, 3D map of the campus. Students are able to post things just like on a blogger or twitter. Lots of Internet availability to search for things. One can take a hybrid class instead of a lecture class. So in those aspects it is good it has many helpful things that you can use it for.

But in the video the down fall to having an I Phone at a University is that a lot of the students were using it for personal stuff and that might take away from there learning time and studying time. They were surfing the web for tickets to the concert and down loading their favorite songs. So that could be a major distraction. It seem more for social interaction amongst the students.
I would possible like to try it but not sure I am more a person who prefers to be in a room where I can have the teacher lecture.
