University of Southern Mississippi Scrimmage Game

I was only at the game for an hour but I had a good time with my classmates. It was nice to get out of the classroom and do something different.

I was wondering how we would see technology in a football game but then I realized of course, the scoreboard is a form of technology that keeps the scores for both teams.

There was a man on the ground with a camera filming the game so that is another form of technology that is used to also show the people at home what is going on with the game. It also shows the officials in the play box an instant replay of a play that my have a penalty.

The one who was the coach was where a head piece microphone. Which he might have been communicating the the official box above us to let them know what was going on. He might also have been communicating with the quarterback going over plays. Or he could have be communicating with the other coach.

So that is how you tied in football and technology with our class. Pretty interesting.
